The Flu Shot BS Nonsense

Postby Vince P » Fri Jan 18, 2013 8:34 am

I work at a track that has over 117 full-time employees including backside workers.

Approximately 100 of them received flu shots in the past month.

Incredibly, 93 of them came down with colds AFTER they got their flu shots.

The 17 of us who didn't fall for the flu shot crap, are perfectly fine and stable, including me.

Who in here has gotten suckered into getting a flu shot?

And please don't be embarrassed to admit it.

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

I got a flu shot about 15 years ago and promptly got the flu. HOWEVER, I have not had the flu and I've only had one minor cold since....and I sure as hell wasn't gonna get another shot...that was as sick as I've ever been!

I never get them. BTW, the King of the USA has decreed that no one can get or renew a passport without getting a flu shot. :|
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

Some years ago I had a doctor who didn't believe in them. After I got the flu two years in a row -- followed up by more than a month of bronchitis -- I decided to take a different path. Now I get my shots every year and haven't had it since.
I hate it when I don't forward chain letter and I die the next day!

Of all the strange allergies one can get, I have problems with cultures that are grown in eggs, although I am not allergic to eggs.

I wonder how the King of the DMFF (Lester) feels about flu shots?

Having seen the Paddock Room, I hope he at least got a malaria shot..

VP, pretty sure Saratoga County and Jefferson County (where Louisville is) now require 2013 flu immunization documentation prior to entering the county, just in case if you will be traveling there.
Not sure about King County
