Glad they de-emphasized the 2YO races and races under a mile. Seems to me the age-old pattern of avoiding other major competetors until the Derby will be lessened.
Maybe 240 points secures you a spot in the Derby?? 'Twill be interesting.

Note: The chart shows the Remsen Gr II at a mile and a 16th, it's really at a mile an an 1/8th

Definitely unchartered waters for all involved , trainers etc. Much more strategy and less room for error. It would have had little bearing on the outcome of last year's Derby,as all of the first 3 finishers were able to win their last big prep races. How's that for a 48,000 superfecta, the first four horses actually came in off a victory.

The way the system looks, that may be the way to bet!
