Tebow NEVER would have that game

Postby Vince P » Sat Jan 12, 2013 5:51 pm

Now do you see the difference between Tebow and any other normal QB?

Tebow as a 17 point dog crushes one of the best teams in football last year in this same game/scenario.

Manning as a 17 point FAVORITE loses to lil ol Baltimore.

I rest my case.

You would think NFL teams would be fighting to sign such a talent. From what I'm hearing and reading he may not have a job in the NFL next year. The one team that would really make sense is Jacksonville since they need an attraction to draw some fans and it's the Almighty's home town. New GM was pretty clear that's not going to happen.

Can't throw a bowling ball thru a plate glass window.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

I don't know but I've been told:
1. Tebow is not liked by his teammates as a football player and as a person. If anybody in the league likes him -- player or front office -- they are keeping quiet.
2. Tebow doesn't always make the correct decisions in looking at a defense (read "he isn't that smart").
3. He is a self-promoter. He is now hustling a line of Tebow earphones. That's OK, but his style is turning people off.
4. When asked by the Jets to be involved in some special offenses, he declined and said he only wants to play QB. It is OK to have preferences and goals, but he forgot he is on a team.

I do know:
1. 47.9 completion percentage.
2. 110 yards/game.
3. 9 TDs and 17 INTs.
4. 39 sacks for -250 yards (not a typo).
5. 14 fumbles, 6 lost.

Leave your Christian card in your wallet. As the devout Kurt Warner (with that tiresome wife) proved, if you can play football you will be in the game. (This goes for the thugs, too.)

As for the Denver playoff game: Tebow is the NFL's Giacomo. They both showed up for the big day and won, although Giacomo did it by himself. Nothing that good has happened since to either of them. We should call him Tim "Giacomo" Tebow.

I didn't think he was a good passer at the University of Florida. Has problems with his mechanics when throwing.

Lmao....comparing Tebow to the great Giacomo. But you have a point. Both are winners.

The bottom line is that Tebow would have found a will and a way to win that game especially as 17 point favorites as his 91.7% winning percentage from college through the pros proves when he was a starter in both.

And I'm sure many of youz would agree but would never admit it.

Very ironic how youz complain about Tebow and his religion - whatever it may be, but then mention it in here as if it's a bad thing.

Makes no sense to me.

No but he wins 91.7% of games when he starts and I believe that's the bottom line. But perhaps I'm wrong and maybe winning doesn't count. Not sure.
