Ernie, the first thing I do is blast Ri Ri or Madge through my Beats by Dr. Dre' so I can get a good vibe going. Then I take my yellow highlighter and red pen and go through the jockey stats, very carefully. I never use past performances of the actual horses running..

Hahahaha funny you wish. That's not what I do. In your dreams I do. I don't even listen to rap that's crap to me.

I don't bet short fields. I like to bet the fields that are 8 horses and above in a horse race. Like here in CA, I'd like to less 5 to 7 horse fields in a full card. I wanna see full fields like we see at GP or in NY during the Spring and Summer and Fall.

I'm strictly a numbers type of plunger and I don't mean sheets.

I play the same numbers every race no matter the jock, odds, PeePees, or trainer.

So far I'm ahead double this year.

I also play names and wimmin jocks when my favorite number is scratched. For example, I'll be wagering on #5 in the 7th race today at beautiful Oaklawn Park this afternoon.

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

For a year, I bought Toby Turrell winner's card to learn more about handicapping. It's useful especially since he's a clocker who IMO picks horses based on their works. He's a good workouts handicapper.

When I am playing straight bets Win and Place, I do the following , I watch the board with the first round of bets, where the money goes, I look for a drop in price on anything that is 12-1 or lower.

Secondly, I also watch for over lays on low price morning line odds. 8-1 or lower

Everyone bets, so watch were the money goes.

Just Remember follow the money other then the favorite. That's one of the main reasons I take my laptop, to get constant information.

As to my pick 3, pick 4 and pick 5's, one can read my other thread.

As to the pick six players, let them respond.

Strictly logic.
I go through the card and eliminate all horses who have absolutely no chance. Then I go to the track and bet $2 ATB on those horses. Seems to work well, at least for me.
America must have the highest "goofs per capita" rating of any nation outside Antarctica.

I like to bet my best bet of the days across the board wagers.

turn my computer on-download the tracks-hit compute and then look for value. then wait for 1-2mins to post and bet my overlays. no 6 horse fields or less. no races moved from turf to dirt due to weather. no sloppy tracks.
