Bear fans by the thousands will be trekking down the double nickel I-55 to visit your great stadium. With a brand new coach in tow.
There is a good chance myself and a few crew members will be there. What say you?

Re: Bob B. and Vinny.
Would love to go. Wife and I were planning vacations just the other day, and other than Saratoga, the Breeders' Cup and Tahoe this year, we drew a blank. St. Louis would be great. Perhaps Bob can suggest other things to do there, i.e. is there an OTB or a racetrack nearby? Does Fairmount count? Is there an In' N Out close so I can eat? Does SouthWest or Delta fly there? In any case put me on the list for at least one. Also, Bob B may be able to confirm this but imo the Rams are getting better, better, better and better. They're no longer the 1-17 team we're used to. Last year- actually this season, they had the youngest team and most virgins of any other team in the NFL. Vince P Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

True. The Jets, for instance, probably only have Tim Tebow. I hate it when I don't forward chain letter and I die the next day!
Re: Bob B. and Vinny. The Rams are certainly turning the corner to be competitive. Unfortunately for them, Seattle and San Francisco turned the corner a few years earlier. The NFC West went from a joke to extremely tough the last two years.
As for the Bears, I'm sure there will be plenty of Chicago fans that come for the game so tickets might actually be a little tough to get. The stadium is pretty boring but it is a dome so there will be no weather concerns. Fairmount Park will be open for simulcasting but live racing usually ends in late August or early September. There's not an In n Out but a couple of Italians will really enjoy The Hill area of St Louis. Plenty of very good Italian joints in all price ranges. It's a very cool neighborhood and the birthplace of Yogi Berra and Joe Garagiola. As for much of the rest of downtown St Louis, I would recommend to be careful in which direction you go. A few miles north of the football stadium is pretty much a warzone and across the river in East St Louis is the equivalent. Southwest is your best bet for non-stop flights into St Louis from Northern California. Fredo could add American as an option from LAX. Delta, United, Frontier are other options but would definitely require a layover. If I can manage to overlook your love of the Domers, I would be glad to be your tour guide while in the Lou. It's far from a tourist attraction mecca, but I could probably find enough to keep you occupied for a weekend. Brewery tours are still offered at Anheuser Busch and you can experience baseball heaven if the game is in September. Even a chance for a Cubs - Bears daily double the last weekend of the baseball season. Keep me posted and hit me up with any questions you may have. "I'm Winston Wolf. I solve problems."
Re: Bob B. and Vinny. From Chic Ago just go down old Route 66 to Saint Louise. I'll expect pictures and a trip report.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
