John Perrotta
Bio: Executive Producer John Perrotta has managed Due Process Stable, Star Stable and was Vice President of North American Operations for Magna Entertainment Corp., overseeing the management of 14 thoroughbred racetracks. A former president of the Thoroughbred Breeders Association of New Jersey, he has been responsible for the breeding of many successful horses, including two-time champion filly Open Mind, 1997 Belmont Stakes winner Touch Gold and two-time New Jersey champion War's Prospect. In addition to having run breeding and training farms in Kentucky, Florida and New Jersey, Perrotta has also bought and sold horses privately and at public auction. His 1984 Due Process Stable sale of the mare Itsintheair in foal to Seattle Slew for $4.6 million set a then record at the Keeneland November mixed sale auction. He managed the career of two-time North American leading stallion Deputy Minister and has raced thoroughbreds at nearly every track in the U.S., as well as in Ireland and England.
