He's said he's going to be very selective. Kinda like a Mike Smith or Craig Perret type plan. Will be interesting to see if he hires an agent.
Re: Gary Stevens finishes 3rd on comebackall these people who talk about who is the good jockey or bad jockey, i betcha if they watched film of garret gomez and compared that film to a

Re: Gary Stevens finishes 3rd on comeback
Tell ya what, compare it to the Casandra Branick ride in the last at Santa Anita on Sunday and tell us whether the jock matters. Avatar - Lords Table winning the Bull Rastus Handicap at Los Al, 9/9/05, Russel Hadley up.
Re: Gary Stevens finishes 3rd on comeback
So-so ride, let's not get carried away here. Not taking anything away from Gary, especially at his advanced age, but the feeling here is that if if Casandra had been up, Jebrica would have been In the winners' circle. Vince P Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.
Avatar: My cuzin Isaac Murphy - a jock I'm tying to emulate in character and winning percentage - almost 47% lifetime.
