Re: Tragic Day Huell Howser DiesI kind of wondered when he announced his retirement last fall. His "job" seemed to be something he still enjoyed too much to quit.
I hate it when I don't forward chain letter and I die the next day!
Re: Tragic Day Huell Howser DiesWhat a shame..I use to get a kick out of his reaction to rocks, desolate highways, and the plain ole folk.
RIP Huell Godspeed
Re: Tragic Day Huell Howser DiesThe reason it was so enjoyable to watch him was his southern charm, the ability to make any stupid thing interesting and unlike 99.17 % of the people here he was not a KIA. He went into everything naive and that provided the best responses from the people he was interviewing . He was prepped for every show but it came so natural to get the best a answers out of people. There will not be anything close to the shows he provided.

Re: Tragic Day Huell Howser DiesHe could make watching grass grow interesting.

Re: Tragic Day Huell Howser DiesVery sad. I always enjoyed watching his shows. Huell was one of a kind!!!

and they were so drunk you couldnt understand a word they said.
