You could get depressed watching TVG and think we are their target audience

1) Can't pay taxes
2) Sexually inadequate sizewise
3) Leaving children in the car
4) Must go to dial up to save money for gambling
5) Call girls
6) get inside info from Jerry Bailey (just had to throw that one in)

But I do miss the Cash Call ones with Gary Coleman, especially the one where he's laughing while trying to complain that nobody in his family would lend him any money.

I remember in a monlogue of comedian David Brenner's, years ago, he was talking about Viagra and said that on the label there is the caution that if an erection* lasts more than four hours that a doctor should be called. He said that if he had an erection that lasted more than four hours he was calling everybody.

As much as WE might dislike this gal, she has made serious BANK doing these national Progressive commercials.
Probably about $40k for the first one. My hypothesis: After the audience/focus group responses came back largely
positive (despite any misgivings in this forum), and they saw an uptick in sales, they signed her for x more (12, or so I've read), and her agent had to have negotiated a very nice sum for all the subsequent ones. Not to mention seeing her on any internet portals (i.e. MSN) and billboards, other media, etc. Progressive will stick with this gal til the aforementioned groups tell them she's gone "stale".

My guess, she's approaching $750k in gross earnings for this gig. Not bad, not bad at all.
