Anti-Depression Medication Solution

Postby Vince P » Wed Jul 29, 2009 7:03 am

Last night I got really, really depressed over something trivial that hadn’t happened to me three days in a row in about a year, and so I didn’t know how to handle it.

Should I drink? Should I start doing drugs again? Should I just cry myself to sleep?

Nope. I found a much better solution.

I drove down to the local grocery store, bought some Dreyer’s Slow Churned Neapolitan Ice Cream and figuratively ate the whole loving bucket in about 27 minutes flat.

If anyone knows me, they know I’m a vanilla person and hate chocolate, but lemme tell you, this chocolate wasn’t all that bad, especially how creamy it was. Plus, you could wash it down with vanilla and strawberry. Absolutely delicious!

I can’t tell you how much better I felt not only while eating it, but afterwards. I slept like a baby without a worry in sight.

Tomorrow night is another day.

Has this ever happened to anyone and what do you take for depression?

Seriously, I think the biggest Urban Legend in history is that ice cream is fatty and jockeys can't eat it. Let me tell you, and I've ridden at many tracks, there's not a jock around who doesn't eat at least a couple of scoops a week. Even Laffit and I used to go to Baskin 'N Robbins back in the day for a scoop or two on Thursday nights.

Btw, whoever gamme my "Quote" option back deserves a raise or two.

If he did, he sure hit the hot box this morning.

And I believe EVERYTHING Vince says. At least I will after I receive my In-`N-Out franchise & trip to Tahoe.

Too bad he didn't impress Torre enough to let him start the 9th last night. But that was the lesser of Torre's egregious errors last night. In extra innings after they score a run, they had a guy on second with two out. He lets Trancoso come up to bat. WTF was that? Can anybody out there in KIA land 'splain that to me????
