Just got back from Salt Creek. Unless you had fins, the cute lifeguards wouldn't let you go any deeper than your ankles.

we were at will rogers state beach saturday, and it was the same deal -- tremendous surf, only allowed to walk up to the edge. Beautiful place though!

i was out there on sunday and the surf wasn't too bad but more active than usual in my opinion. there was this yellow crud floating along the shoreline at times though that looked like toxic urine or something. (it prolly was)
