We had this big discussion one Christmas. What would you rather have a cold or the stomach flu? All but two of us chose the cold. In fact, one of the youngest in the crowd called a cold a "winter vacation". HA! Wait till he gets a few more years on him.
Having Stomach Flu can also be considered a vacation. But there are also several undesirable side effects.........
The destinations are very limited though. Mostly porcelain palaces.

Whatever doesn't involved throwing up is preferable. And whatever involves letting me sleep through it is preferable too. So I'll go with a cold.
Mary, so very sorry that you've been that sick. Heal quickly!

Back in the early seventies around Christmas time, my whole family got the flu, so I was the Christmas elf for all. About a month later I got it, slept mostly and lived on V-8 juice and crackers. I've never had a flu shot and have never had the flu since then.
Mary, how you doin' ? Hopefully better . . . . . . .

Yeah. Gonna be a fairly long road all the way back, but I think I'll be able to go in to work tomorrow -- at least for part of the day.
