I'm not defending Manny in any way, shape or form, but I will defend the Dodgers.

Manny, as far as I know and from test results, hasn't taken steroids while with the Dodgers, unlike Bonds with the Giants for many years. In all probability Manny was cheating with the Sox - the fertility pills he was taking were for the after effects from steroids.

So, yes he was a cheater.

But was he cheating while playing for the Dodgers?

I highly doubt it. And that's the huge difference between the Dodger fans and the Giant fans. The Giant fans knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Bonds was using while playing for them and chose to ignore it and defend him. Dodger fans got Manny after his drug days. The only drug he took with the Dodgers was the fertility pills which, although illegal, obviously can't help him.

Again, I'm not condoning Manny's behavior - I'd much rather the Dodgers win without him, which they have - and I know many Dodger fans, like me, are disgusted with him, unlike the bulk of Giant fans.

There are many cheaters as we're slowly finding out, but I believe Manny cheated before he came to the Dodgers. I could be wrong.
