Today was movie day. My wife and daughter removed my sorry ass from gambling on the horses on my machine and took me to see Avatar, or say they thought.
After about 20 minutes of watching Avatar I almost puked and axed them if they wouldn't mind if I left to watch The Wolfman playing in the opposite theatre about 10 feet away.
So I go and watch Wolfman. What a ridiculous, but somewhat entertaining movie. The only reason I tolerated it was because I was away from Avatar. But don't get me wrong, The Wolfman was dumb - don't go see it on account of me.
So, even though The Wolfman started 30 minutes after Avatar, it ended about an hour before Avatar because Avatar is like 4 boring hours long or something like that. So after watching The Wolfman, I walked back to see the last hour of Avatar.
Seriously, did people really like this movie?
At least I understood The Wolfman, but this Avatar crap baffled me and was quite ridiculous. Flying giraffes, wtf?
I just don't get it. And, the bizarre thing is my wife and daughter loved it.
Perhaps there's something wrong with me, is there?
Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

Nothing wrong at all with you Vince. I had to take Lippy to see Avatar. Just a flat out dumb movie. I believe it is scientific proof that most broads would be entertained with a set of jingling keys or a laser pointer. Kinda like a cat
I would be a vegetarian if BACON grew on trees
Let's analyze who the dumb ones are here. Ronnie wanted to see Avatar so I sent him to the movies by himself while I played the horses on a Sunday afternoon. Now what were you saying about broads?
I don't think there is anything wrong with you Vince, for not liking Avatar. I haven't seen it, don't want to see it. From the trailers on TV it just looked stupid. A feast of the latest special effects but what else? If a movie neededs spectacular special effects to get by then I have no interest in it - seems all flash and no substance. But the fantasy buffs love them so who am I to argue with their tastes?
As for Wolfman, it has consistently received terrible reviews. Another movie trying to get by on special effects. And shame on Benicio del Toro for accepting the role.

I didn't go see Titanic but saw it on television once, I never understood what the big deal was about a love story. SHE PUSHED HIM OFF INTO THE WATER, love? I think not.
