vince p's beloved dodger dogggs, congrats. http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/news/ ... sp&c_id=lamy early prediction is that he gets shelled from the get-go and lasts 1 2/3 innings and torre brings in ugly jeff weaver losing 6-0 to the big red machine.

It's a darn good thing we get this debacle over with now instead of waiting until after the trading deadline. At least we'll still have time to go out and buy an arm. Unless, of course, Driefort is ready.

Actually he didn't pitch all that bad considering this was his first start in seven years and he "may" back into a win.
His performance reminded me of my first time with Susie when we in 3rd grade - I was real nervous and had the jitters. Perhaps the same with Jason tonight, no?

Charlie Brown gets the win and a chance to start again in 5 days. Nice to see Russel Martin has found a new way to kill innings other than hitting into double plays. Thrown out twice trying to steal bases. And it's nice to see Oxton back to normal.

With an 85 mile an hour fast ball he better start to add some real nasty pitches or else visit Tim Wakefield and learn to throw a knuckleball.

Nah. He's the next Greg Maddux. He'll strike you out with his mind, not his fastball.

Thought I was watching a High School game. When both pitchers are throwing 70-85 MPH.............
