I'm wondering too Ogy because Nascar is never wrong about anything they see to that, you don't want to get in the crosshairs. I wonder what the test results are from the independent lab. I wouldn't doubt the stepmother is crazy. I mean really if you did crystal meth would you do it 30 times in front of your parents? That seems far-fetched too. If they are out to get him they have done a great job, if he's guilty perhaps he needs to just slink away.

The judge allowed the restraining order based oh the questionable handling of the "B" sample on the first test. Do you really think they're that stupid to repeat the error on the second one? Also, in case one didn't read about it, Mayfields attorney was aware of the results before the public was, and didn't complain about the procedure, so it must have been OK with him. Also, the level he tested positive for was that of a "chronic user".

It's curious, when an athlete is alleged to have violated whatever drug policy is in force, it seems some will always defend the athlete, even in the face of clear guilt.

Agree, with the possible exception of Floyd Landis..I don't remember anyone defending him..

At first I was all for giving Mayfield the benifit of the doubt, but after the outburst and him talking over 7hrs to allow Nascar to have a urine sample, and that one came back positive....guilty, imo. His excuse for missing the deadline for the test was, "Oh I didnt get the message", then it was "oh I got lost going to the lab", then it was "Oh you gave me bad directions", then he goes to his own dr office to take a sample, then has Nascar meet him at his house (guess he cant get lost going there), he makes them wait for over an hour because he cant go! All this, and as he says "this is my life they are trying to take away", but he cant ask freaking directions to a lab??? No way!
