Hopefully it will give him some humility..he's got all the tools to be a great QB..just needs to get a bit of an attitude adjustment..

Hopefully he will have another year in 2009, like he had in 2008..one of the top 3 QB's in the NFL..

I'm not a Chargers fan (I play for the 2010 World Champion Los Angeles Rams), but I couldn't agree with you more re Rivers. From what I've read, heard and seen, a great guy.

Good thing it wasn't a NIKE camp. Otherwise the tape would have been burned.

Stick to Dodger baseball and kems...leave the football talk to sluggo and FFC. He is lucky to scratch the top ten for crissakes

106 QB Rating. 34 TD's. 11 Int's.

"lucky to scratch the Top 10"

Sluggo, you and FFC need to lay off the Haterade..I think there's a 12 step program for that..xoxoxoxo

no haterade here...let me put it in a simpler way that way slow peeps like yourself can understand.

I am assuming you have the obvious top 2

1. Brady
2. P Manning or could be the other way

So you are gonna put Punk RIvers before the following

3. Big Ben
4. Drew Brees
5. Kurt Warner
6. Carson Palmer
7. Aaron ROdgers
8. Tony Romo
9. Peytons half slow brother Eli
10. M Hasselback
11. Jay Cutler
12. Cowboy Bob Orton
13a. Zenyatta
13b. Where Id put Rivers
14. Choppers
15. Vince P.
16. Jobba CHamberlain

Sluggo - You gotta understand, San Diego sports is a funny duck. A successful Charger season is one where they are able to show a couple of home games on TV (even if the city has to buy up all the unsold tickets). The Padres are measured by the rare ability to beat the Dodgers once or twice over the course of 162 games. A good quarterback is one who's not hitting the links when he's on the vet's list.

BTW - I think Joel has a picture of the San Diego trophy case around somewhere.
