Here's what a clueless bettor I am...

From Saturday July 11th

I was looking at BRISnet this morning to see what all the stakes races were for today. I printed out
all the races (and their fields) I wanted to watch. A horse's name caught my eye - only one -
strictly because of this pedigree. In the Arlington Park Handicap Gentleman Chester was entered (an
IL bred) by Chester House out of an A.P. Indy mare. Never heard of the horse.

I had some money that's been idling in my TVG account for a long time so I decided to play a hunch
bet. Since it was just a wild-assed guess and because he's by Chester House I decided to put $10 on
him (big amount for me to put on a horse race, on one horse). Since I'm a chicken bettor I did a
W/P bet.

After I confirmed my bet I discovered I'd typed in a 2 instead of a 1, so I accidentally bet $20 on
a horse I knew nothing at all about.

I never did get to see the race so I checked the Equibase results and my TVG account. He came in 2nd
and payout was $81.
