As I recall from a previous shaving thread here, everything from a mug and brush to the Mach3 at to deals at the local swap meet were discussed, but.....
did anybody say what their favorite automatic razor is, lots of ads on TV for items such as the Norelco triple header, seriously thinkin about making a life changing decision, any recommendations are appreciated, thanks.
And remember...Things work out best when you make the best of the way things work out.
Was a faithful Mach 3 user for many years. Three blades seemed like plenty. Then they came out with the Quattro..4 blades of smoothness. Though tempting, I didn't change as ya'll here know once I like something, I never leave it when something newer and/or better comes along.
HOWEVER, one day I was at the Piggly-Wiggly and I seen the FUSION..FIVE blades of shaving goodness.
I am now a committed FUSION man..gives you a shave as smooth as a baby. Only negative is the blades cost like $17 per..
Can you make the switch from manual to electric (or vice versa)? I thought once your face was used to one way, you're set for life.
That said, I've been 'lectric since day one. I like the Norelco Triple-head. Tried a Remington once, it was OK, but the Norelco was much better. I buy whatever one they have at and replace it about every five years. I can't for the life of me imagine what a pain it must be to shave with a razor, cream, steptic pencil, etc., not to mention the cost incurred with that method.

That might be it. I got a Remington for Christmas one year after being used to a blade, & I never had so many ingrown hairs & irritations on my neck.
What's Ogy have to say ? He talked about a shaving forum on that thread.

JB is 187% correct re the best blade in medical history - Fusion Power Blade (battery operated is even better). I've been using them ever since they were invented and there simply is no better blade, period.
But, and this is a big but, JB is incorrect re their price. I used to buy the 17 pack of them at , and, even using my coupons and employee discounts, they were like $3.17 per.
Then one day, while shopping for Breeders' Cup tickets, I discovered EBAY. You can buy them (and I mean the authentic Gillette ones -not no imitation unpackaged crap) on Ebay for as low as $1.77 per blade if you shop around and buy them by the thousands.

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.
