Michigan/NDI think they should switch coaches
Re: Michigan/NDThey need to do something. Both programs have become horrid.
I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany...
Re: Michigan/NDI'm willing to give Rich Rod until next year before I start getting on his case. It usually takes 3 years to switch systems so I'll let it slide, but with that stated the Defense is terrible. He needs to work on that or he'll be gone after next year. The Offense looks pretty solid though with Forcier.
As for Weis, there's ZERO excuse for his teams to constantly underachieve. In 2005 and 2006 he had all the success with Willingham's recruits. Now that he has had 3 seasons with nearly all his recruits I think we are seeing how "good" he is. 3-9 in 2007, 7-6 in 2008, 6-4 so far in 2009. Oh and he lost to Navy twice the last 3 years. Not even the "awful" Ty Willingham nor Bob Davie managed that feat. I think it is time for him to be gone.
Re: Michigan/NDRich Rod has other issues aside from his w-l record.

Re: Michigan/NDI also agree that R-Rod should get one more year. Lloyd Carr left that program bare for the type of system that R-Rod wanted to play with. I would be worried thought if I was a Michigan fan. They need to have a good showing this week against Ohio State or it will be a really really long offseason.
I think Weiss should go, his teams/program hasn't progessed at all since he has been there. I don't think he is a guy who can win with the limitations of practice and prep time put out there by the NCAA. I also put blame on the institution. This isn't 1972 anymore, they aren't the only program regularly on TV anymore.
Re: Michigan/NDAll I know is (giggle) Navy has beaten ND AT HOME twice now.
God help me I do love it so! Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
