How is this for a great sports night. Turned off the hockey game with 5 minutes to go in order to turn on the Padre-Philly baseball game I then turned off the Padre game after 8 innings only to miss them scoring 3 in the bottom of the 9th to tie and one in the 10th to win.
Sarcasm:the ability to insult idiots without them realizing it
Congrats to Fredo and all Blackhawk fans.
I dont think I have ever seen an ending like that. I have seen a team tie it up late and then often win in OT. But Chicago said were going back home and we dont want no Freakin Game 7.
This years playoffs coming off the lockout were outstanding. A lot of gutsy players, like Toews and Bergeron and the guy on the Bruins who stood out on the ice with a broken ankle(in the previous round) and Shaws face after smacked with the puck.
Enjoy your cup, well earned.
Although the ending to the game had to be shocking to the Bruins and their fans, no reason to hang your head, very tough team too.
Its time to melt the ice and shave the beards. See ya in October.
The Dodgers Suck. No Championships in 25 Years. HAHA
Thanks guys.Probably the greatest 17 seconds in Chicago sports history. When we scored the 3rd goal I swear my heart leaped out of my chest.I was at the bar which is our local hangout for all the Hawks and Bears game. The place went nuts.I brought six bottles of champagne and kept them in the car until I know we won. Then we celebrated and the party was on. What really was cool was that alot of Chicago fans who weren't at the bar came down after the game.A friend of mine brought a replica Stanley Cup . We closed the doors at midnight then had a private party till around 3 AM.Took a cab home, When I woke up this morning my face was in a meatball sandwich.I'm just so proud of this team. They were getting pounded on by Boston and kept getting back up. What a night.
Stay away from the track for a while, or bet strickly to show.
