Don't get me wrong, I quit gambling years ago but I still follow odds, etc, and often get quite amused with them.
Case in point:
The Houston Astros have won 7 games in a row while the California Angeles of Anaheim have lost like 17 in a row and have a starting pitcher (Joseph Blanton/Angeles) on the mound whose big league record is 1-17 this year and yet, the Angels are the biggest favorites in today's baseball games, at -2.30.
Does that make any sense to you?
The Astros were +2.70, +2.50, + 2.25 in the previous three games of this series and won all three every easily. Now they're +2.10.
I would hate to advise anyone to go to a funeral after they missed three straight weddings but geez, what’s going on here?
