That is still a fairly hot show, otherwise a website like broadwaybox.com could get tickets under face value. Still, probably worth a shot to google "jersey boys discount broadway" and similar searches just to see if anything below face is available.
I saw the show in Vegas, it is really carried by the music. No big stars or hot babes that you would particularly have to see close up, so I don't think paying a premium for close seats is worth it for this show. Costumes and sets are also on the simple side (at least in Vegas production).
So just go by price. If mid orchestra is $125, and mid-balcony $80, I think you'd be better with the $80 seats and
ing the rest of the money on dinner. But you can also google the theater to see exactly how big it is. And restaurant.com, if you've never used them, is a good place to get some nice dining discounts in New York and anywhere.
And you can get seats under face on a fairly wide array of shows at broadwaybox, so you might want to check it out. If you've never seen Chicago that show is great, if still playing I think it is one of the shows they have discounts for. Jersey Boys, enteraining, is really a bunch of songs sung by people who aren't the Four Seasons. Chicago is a real show -- great story and choreography plus great songs.
Will you be be visiting the Jersey Shore? Monmouth Park? I'll be in Asbury Park area late June to early July.
