Fredo,

If you're going to sit there and tell me that a guy named Sluggo has picked 57 winners while a guy named Vince has only picked 47, I ain't buying it one bit. I'm stupid, but not that stupid.

Please double check my picks and Sluggo's and you'll see that something got reversed somewhere.

The day Sluggo picks more winners than me is the day I give up eating, sex and gambling, not necessarily in that order.

You have this in legal writing.

You'd made up half that deficit if you wouldn't have been so stubborn and picked your lambs.

It's funny, I knew I should not have gotten into this pool because of that very reason - I would be picking the Rams every week.

But just wait, I can all but guarantee you they go on one of the longest winning streaks in the history of the UFL, starting Sunday. Mark my words.

This 2009 Ram team has heart - they outgained the Vikings last week and if it wasn't for 3 miscues inside the 7 yeard line, the Rams would have won easily, no? Or at least they would have covered the freaking 10.5 point spread.

Actually I agree with you about last week. I think they have a real chance to go 0-16, but the Viking score was not indicative of the game. You mentioned the turnovers and the defense has actually played fairly well, but they wear down as the offense is atrocious. At least they moved the ball against the Vikings, but those turnovers killed them. The other games have been pretty much outs and I would expect the Jags to get some frustration for their bad start out at the expense of the Rams this week.
