"Southland" is back next week. http://www.tntdrama.com/series/southland/

I'd imagine the writers are keeping a close eye on this story. It seems like it was made for them.

Mary

Can you imagine what Hollywood is going to do ?

I bet there are writers now in the wood work just waiting for the finish so they can write a script for a movie or a TV show

As to a TV show, there's too much to write , this will be a 90 or 120 minute movie.

Do you watch Southland? Just their sort of thing.

Could be one of their many complicated plot lines running through an entire season.

Been waiting a long for this new season. Wish they would bring Chickie back.

Dorner picked a good weekend for the attention factor – post-super Bowl and pre march madness, east coast blizzarded in and nothing of even much interest at Satan Anita, plus So-Cal is way overdue for a larger than life “True Crime” drama, the only thing interesting going on is Westminster Kennel Club and the finals won’t be on television until Monday and Tuesday nights. At first gut reaction was former rogue cop, menace to society, but after reading his manifesto and misc. facebook postings that have been published by the media, it tends to humanize him. Something triggered a “falling down” mental collapse – highly intelligent and trained in survival, there’s no way he’s headed to Mexico, has somehow made a switchback and probably in downtown L.A. right now sing among the lunch crowd, stay tuned…

Just saw the news conference from Big Bear. Head sheriff says "if he's in Big Bear Valley we'll find him.Its a very dangerous time. All schools are closed". Gotta love his confidence. Then the mayor of Big Bear gets in front of the mic and pitches the town as a great resort destination and says "All ski areas are open.Big Bear residents are a hearty bunch. Most of em are armed". ummm ok thanks.

Too bad the cop killer didn't go to Chicago..50 murders just in January..maybe we would have gotten lucky and he would have been hit by a stray bullet..

I suspect "suicide by cop" is his planned final chapter.
