The fact that the Ravens held SF to 6 points the first half while Flacco threw 3 TD passes to 3 different receivers made the difference, seems to me.
The Ravens went into the 'protect our lead, use-up the clock. don't give them the long ball' crap that has defeated lots of teams. Almost did them in.
The absolutely silly interception SF threw, hardly any pressure and threw it right to a Raven. Superbowl rookie mistake.

All my personal opinion.

Could it have been that the 49ers made adjustments at halftime and played better defense? Could it have been the great field position that the Ravens had in the first half that allowed them to open up their offense more? Could it be that a "protect our lead use up the clock, don't give them the long ball" was also a rookie mistake?

I saw a game where neither team dominated. Nobody owned the line of scrimmage. If the 49ers had scored on their last possession and won the game I certainly wouldn't have felt that they were outplayed and just got lucky.

Lmao, now you know why they’re called the 40 Whiners.

Can you tell me what happened on the last offensive play of the Falcons two weeks ago? Replay it and think about it. Karma or justice in this case, is a female dog and a half sometimes. And that Ryan pass was 10 times more blatant!

So, since the Ravens and 40 Whiners have essentially the exact same roster as they did last Thanksgiving when the Ravens manhandled the 40 Whiners, what you're telling me is that if these two teams played each other 8 more times, the 40 Whiners would go 7-1 ???????

Or did you mean to start that 7/10 nonsense from scratch after each time the Ravens beat the 40 Whiners?

And you call yourself a tout?

oh paleeze, if they played 100 times baltimore would have won 100 times. they absolutely dominated that game in every phase. had the lights not went out it would have been a 48 to 13 and that last touchdown sf got was because it didnt matter to the ravens.

Really? How do you determine that? Was it the fact that the 49ers gained 100 more yards than the Ravens? Or was it the fact that if not for 1 kickoff return and 1 no-call in the end zone San Francisco would be having a parade today. (one for football that is)

Yards gained and time of possession mean nothing !!! Scoreboard is the only thing that matters, something you have yet to
grasp in your tenure of the forum. S C O R E B O A R D!!!! Nothing else matters including your lame excuses!!!!
