Leaving for Vegas this morning to bet the Super Bowl

Postby Igeteven » Sat Feb 02, 2013 7:38 am

After the Stein's show, I am leaving to drive to Vegas.

Just a comment, From Los Angeles, don't you love the drive from Barstow to Baker, the most boring 70 miles one can drive.

Maybe a stop at Peggy's Sue for coffee, but that is only 12 miles from Barstow, what do you do the rest of the way to the great , fabulous town of Baker.

My brother law is in the CHP. He told me to tell you when you start seeing black ice in the mountain passes that you need to accelerate to 80-90 mph and weave your car hard to the left and then quickly to the right. This will give your tires more traction. They teach this to the officers every year. Godpseed.

Fredo,

Only once, I have ran into ice up there, I drove 20 MPR until I got down the hill.

Driving on ice is like running with a gun pointed at one's head.

It's a Zen exercise, my Yogi toad me to do it.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
