was doing business with a dot.com cpany in the late 90s. found out they landed the contract to completely re-do american airlines reservation sytem, which was 100s of millions. so i go buy stock in the company.
next day the stock had dropped in half. so im so smart, because i know this deal they made with american airlines wasnt public yet, so i buy more stock. next day its less than half of that. next day its annouced in the wall street journal that this company had landed this huge contract with american airlines, im thinkin home on the beach, sports car, maybe more. next day its down to 3 gadam dollars a share and dropping fast.
within a week its worth hardly nothin...so much for insider trading. never got a dime
