Belk Bowl Betting..SHIP IT!

Cincy - 10 vs Duke.

1 minute to play, game is tied 34-34, Duke is less than 10 yards away from the game winning score, and I figuratively "tear up my ticket". Cincy then somehow recovers a fumble and drives down the field for a TD, and then scores AGAIN after a Duke interception is returned for a Pick-6, in the final seconds.

Final score Cincy 48, Duke 34..EASY game..

Never rip up your ticket, especially at the track until the OFFICIAL sign is posted. I've told you a few times of gift wins I received with bizarre endings. Good job JB.

JB,

I won't mention any names but someone very, very close to me wagered on Duke +9.5 and Duke +3.25 on the money line. Anyways, this dude was counting his motherless loving chickens with 1:07 to go and Duke on the 7 yard line of Cinci.

Now this same person is walking back and forth on the GoldenGate bridge, contemplating what he's going to do next.

Love gambling!

Vince P's pain must have been eased a bit by a nice showing for the underdogs on Friday night!

I hope it's the team from near Dublin. If it is, note that that line has moved from +10.5 to "only" +9.5, not that they'll need ANY points. Huge move off the "10." I bet it three weeks ago at +10.5.

Agree, that was one of the craziest finishes ever. It cost me only about $100 total in possible spread/money line winnings, but the way it happened was incredible. Odds were probably 17,000-1 that Duke wouldn't get the cover when they had the ball on the 5 yard line with a tie score and +9.5.
