We have a 2012, and an unusual thing happened. KIA sent us a letter stating that they have mis-represented the MPG ranges on the window sticker for our car, and we can get a rebate for that. I filled out the form and my rebate estimate is $366.42. After one day I can take the car to a KIA dealer and they can see my file online, verify the VIN, milage and my ownership, and cut me a check.
Funny thing is, at first the milage was lower than they stated, but after it broke in at about 7-8,000 miles it improved to what they stated. I did switch to synthetic oil at 5,000, so that helped also. I won't mention that.
We will see if the check bounces.
