Anyone have a KIA Soul, 2012-2013?

We have a 2012, and an unusual thing happened. KIA sent us a letter stating that they have mis-represented the MPG ranges on the window sticker for our car, and we can get a rebate for that. I filled out the form and my rebate estimate is $366.42. After one day I can take the car to a KIA dealer and they can see my file online, verify the VIN, milage and my ownership, and cut me a check.

Funny thing is, at first the milage was lower than they stated, but after it broke in at about 7-8,000 miles it improved to what they stated. I did switch to synthetic oil at 5,000, so that helped also. I won't mention that.

We will see if the check bounces.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

no kermit, but i might look into one, my HONDA transmission is going, , usually without warning it will, getting back to your kia, have you thought about or looked into putting syntec tranny fluid in? google it, i hear it's a beauty as far as protecting the tranny moving parts, you pay a little more but it's a notch above the usual lube, transmissions are a expensive repair, i am just thinking about un-loading my car before it explodes , i know karma is ....., but i got to do what i gotta do, just don't want to have some crazy buyer chasing me with a gun 6 months down the road after the car stops moving, hey...buyer beware.
