Saw a few episodes of Nashville, sometimes more Soap Opry than Grand Old Opry, but if you don't like a storyline a different one will come on in a minute or two. However, the song that guy sang in the bar near the beginning of tonight's show was one of the best "made for TV" songs I've ever heard, helped by a great performance. Even better than some of the ones I wrote (for sitcoms). I'm assuming it was an original. Did anyone else catch this? Was it an original or a cover of some band I haven't heard of. In my mind, better than the song that got that one duo signed to a contract.
Regarding Homeland, saw a couple episodes last season, but after the Emmy decided to go all in this year. My opinion, best show on television. Sort of a sophisticated version of 24. Strong and believabale writing, you (or at least I) can't guess what's going to happen next.
