seems to me instead of buying up $200 million in new properties, they should get paris to go clean that discusting bathroom at the lvh racebook.

Hilton has nothing to do with the LVH anymore. They were also disgusted with the state of the property and forced them to remove the Hilton name from the hotel. I've read that it is going downhill very fast which is a shame because their sportsbook has always been top notch.

Hilton didn't buy the Tropicana either. They just sign promotional franchise type agreements with national hotel chains for access to their frequent stay guests. Cosmopolitan has an agreement with Marriott. Venetian/Palazzo has one with Intercontinental/Holiday Inns.

Aliante goes under the knife starting this week. They are tearing out the giant tv screens in the sports book, replacing many slots and other table games, removing all the Station casino's cafes and restaraunts including the buffet.
The only website I saw was http://www.aliantegaming.com

The racebook dude told me they are going to close the place on two different days, for five hours at a time.
The buffet dudette told me they were bought by a Chinese group.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
