NFL refs ? LMAO

Postby Fredo » Thu Oct 18, 2012 8:49 pm

Listen to me you muggs and listen good.I have said this since the use of instant replay. These with no doubt are the WORST OFFICIALS IN SPORTS. They have had the best technology, the most cameras, the most refs on the field yet they more calls than you can imagine.. How many n calls have cost teams wins, playoff berths, etc? Dozens over the last 5+ years. In tonight"s Sea-SF game the Ref made a call, changed it,tried to justify it and talk for 4,5 min making 3 different calls.. It got so bad the NFL announcers were baffled and the network went to commercial while the dinosaur ref was still jaw jacking like he had Turrets syndrome.Ya baby week 7 is here.

At least the substitute refs gave us entertainment along with the bad calls.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

Could we also speculate that bad officiating calls have also caused gamblers ("or maybe not gamblers") to lose or "win" money?

Last play of the game NO-TB.The TB wide receiver is pushed out of the end zone comes back in and makes catches the TD pass. Refs another call and says he ran out of bounds on his own. There was no illegal contact. This is getting hysterical.

I believe once the QB runs outta the pocket, and the ball is not in the air, you can touch a receiver - it's not illegal contact.

Secondly, the receiver who runs outta bounds for whatever reason cannot be the FIRST offensive player to touch the ball.

Had the ball been tipped or touched by a defensive player first, then coming out of bounds would have been okay.

Bottom line is the refs got it right whether or not they were paid.....I think.

The illegal contact-push happened before the scramble imho. If you do read the rule the WR can come back inbounds and establishes himself, then he can be in the play.Which he did. Total BS call.If you go by the spirit of the stupid rule it would be ok to shove receivers all over the field once the qb leaves the pocket and the receiver is beyond 5 yards ?No flags, right ? Seems like any throw outside the pocket would never get a PI call.Of course that wouldn't happen in todays flag happy refs. You sneeze on a WR you get a flag. You hit a QB a milla second before he throws it you get a roughness flag.Once again a total BS call.As far as I'm concerned TB deserved to lose the game.Gave up 5 consective td's. NO's defense s.They gave up 513 in offense to a team ranked 29th in offense. Still total BS call.

Fredo,

Do you want me to call back in the substitute refs or not?

At least, as Kermit says, they was entertaining!
