Unfortunately no, unless you want to start your games at 5:30 PM in the evening. If it wasn't for this forum I wouldn't know much else about the Dodgers other than Manny Ramirez. While I'm not a baseball junkie, I follow sports pretty closely and I couldn't name 3 players from Oakland, Seattle, Arizona, San Francisco, San Diego and even the Angels. I don't know that it's a lack of respect for the west coast, more a lack of accessibility and apathy. If the two LA teams make the World Series, they will be available at a reasonable time for the rest of the country to watch and they will be acknowledged. Same goes for other sports, except NFL where all the games are at watchable times and to a lesser extent for the Pac 10 football teams that play in the afternoon. Games that start after 7:00 PDT get few eyes in the midwest and I would imagine even fewer on the biased and hated east coast.

Vinny had a classic line on Holiday's misplay- " I hope he's wearing a cup. " http://www.mlb.com/media/video.jsp?topi ... id=7028745Holliday himself said he lost the ball in the lights, but Wainright made the comment that Dodger fans shouldn't be allowed to wave white towels. Hmm............does that mean when the Dodgers go to St Louis that the Cardinal fans won't be waving white towels ?

Thanks for the link. I cannot understand why TBS doesn't tap Vin to do the national broadcast. In regards to "Towelgate", this video tells the real story. If you notice while Loney is at the plate, NOBODY is waiving their towels. We're dejected, disappointed in Ethier and Manny, and ready to go home. Loney's weak popup into left field didn't get the crowd excited, in fact there is dead silence while the ball's in the air. I repeat - NO TOWELS.

Word is Tom Niedenfuer flashed a laser in Holliday's eyes to create a new goat in the historical Dodger - Cardinal playoff battles...
As for Wainwright, not his finest hour by making those comments. He was trying not to throw Holliday under the bus for losing the game, but he came off as a whiner about the towels. I'm sure he's beyond frustrated. In the span of six days, the bullpen blew a 6-1 lead for his 20th win and then they blew a playoff win (with the help of Holliday) that completely changes the complexion of the series. At 1-1 Cardinals are prohibitive favorites, at 0-2 near miracle needs to happen.

The spike at the end should have been earlier when Franklin came out of the bullpen. Then the slight uptick for the actual tying of the game by Belliard and the expected spike of the inevitable winning of the game by Loretta.
