Yeah Pooch, I had one in September of 2010. Thank God your mom doesn't need one. Very painful at first and
very slow recovery time. I wouldn't wish a triple bypass on my worst enemy. God Bless!

Had dinner last night with a friend who had one about 10 years ago (performed by the late, great Dr. Michael E. DeBakey). He seems to regard it as FAR preferable to dropping dead.
Upon reflection, think it must have been supervised by Dr. DeBakey -- I see he would have been well into his 90s at the time.
I hate it when I don't forward chain letter and I die the next day!
