I read part of an interesting story today about a group of guys, who are janitors or maintenance people, I'm really not sure. Apparently these " Good Samaritan Sanitation Engineers" got together and decided to use their cleaning talents to help a city in need. As I read it these guys got together and went to LA and swept Los Angeles. The headline read: "Los Angeles gets swept. "

I didn't read the whole story but I guess the streets and freeways are now clean. So Los Angelinos, enjoy your commute to work tomorrow on your newly swept streets. Just remember to use those night vision goggles because even though your streets are clean, and your commute is during the daytime, the air there is still hard to see through.

P.S. Apparently these guys aren't through yet. I read another story that they are now on their way to Philadelphia to sweep there. Great guys, huh. Get ready for clean streets Philly!!! Yah!!!

Nah, these guys don't put their brooms down for nothin' ya know. It's my understanding that they're gonna be sweepin' all the way through the last part of October. Lots of cities are gonna have clean streets for drivin'.

Anyway I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say "this past weekend's games?" Games are not what this thread is all about. As "The Great One" might say or write, "PLEASE STICK TO THE SUBJECT, OR START ANOTHER THREAD OK!!!" "I SICK OF YOU BUTTIN' IN ON SOMETHING YOU KNOW NUTHI'N ABOUT." "NOW PLEASE READ WHAT I WROTE!!!"

This thread is about cleaning a city, by sweeping their streets. With that in mind, I didn't read anything about our "Good Samaritan, Sanitation Engineers" this past weekend. However, I have found out and I have this on good authority, that our "Whisky Winners," have requested a permanent assignment sweeping in LA. Said one "Gibson Upright Vaccumer" "We find that's it's easy and enjoyable sweeping Los Angeles and we could sweep LA everyday of the week."

However, it's doubtful that their request will be honored. Other cities need their services and need to be swept.
