won again yesterday 17 wins in 20 games in july so far. and they are only 4 &1/2 games back of texas who looked long gone a month ago. if the As could some how pull off a world series win this year it would have to be the biggest upset in the history of baseball.

lost yesterday 18 and 4 so far this month with two games to play, only 4 games behind texas and 1/2 game ahead of the angels. if they could somehow beat those two teams, then billy bean would have to be considered the most valuable person in all of baseball. if they pay guys like albert puhols $25 million a year then billy bean would have to be worth 5 times that at least. of course no one would pay him that but someone should.

Look what Tampa Bay has done in recent years, with a payroll about the same as the A's..

i am actually a giant fan. but about a month ao i started noticing the A's, and now i hope they do better than the giants, just because
they have no big stars. these guys who
get 10 year contracts, thats just a joke
