Don't sleep on the Crimson Tide. They will roll through the regular season unbeaten, trounce the Gators in the SEC Championship, and then blast Ohio State/Texas/USC or whoever they play in the BCS Title game. Big time athletes everywhere on that team. Alabama is a freaking lead pipe cinch to be crowned the champs in early 2010.

You can go ahead and book that. Trust. :-)

Pick us up at the train station, we're going to roll cross country for the BCS championship game. Just like the Alabama teams from yesteryear on their way to the Rose Bowl.

Wooooooooo, easy their tiger(s). Although I think Alabama is tough and has as good a shot as anyone...I wouldn't get too excited just yet. Lots of football to go. Bama could get into a game that's a bit more of a shootout and I'm not sure I trust that QB yet. I like Ingram, love J. Jones, but not sure about QB.

OMG, if there is one thing I'm NOT worried about it's McElroy. I have followed him since high school, he's been around football all his life with his dad. He's a junior, graduated last year and is working on his masters. With that in mind, as they said Saturday, the best thing about him is his intelligence, he knows his limitations. That was something Alabama did not have last year with John Parker Wilson.

In college football, even the stoutest defense will have a game were they are giving up a lot of points. That will happen this year at least once, my point with McElroy was that I don't think he would be my choice to lead the charge in an offensive shootout. He is an upgrade from last year though.

Alabama has always lived by the Bear Bryant Rule - defense wins game, offense is just showing off.

Alabama won a championship with sophomore Jay Barker at the helm, he couldn't hit a bull in the ass if he only took a three step drop. McElroy looks like a Heisman Trophy winner in comparison. But Barker married quiet well.

Hey there Beckron. Have the Tide been to the Rose Bowl before?
"The bill approved in Congress to avert the so-called fiscal cliff would bring the first major tax increase on high earners in 20 years."
