PAC 10 is a mess

The Cal team that we are seeing today is the highest ranked of the conference? Unbelievable.

Craziness reigns in college football. Florida State gets beat by Miami so I think they're down. Then they go on the road and annihilate BYU, who beat Oklahoma. USF goes in to Tallahassee and beats FSU. Oregon loses to Boise St and gets their rb suspended, comes back and wins two and is dusting Cal. LSU has to make two stops at the 1 in the last minute to hold off Miss St in Starkville. TCU is losing at Clemson. Aforementioned Miami is getting smoked by Virginia Tech.

I guess Florida better be a little worried heading into Commonwealth Stadium tonight with a team still riddled with the flu. Tebow and a couple others flew on a private jet to the game, pretty nice quarantine facilities in the SEC.

Crazy stuff, but we love it so.

Florida State/Miami = Way Overrated
USF = Underrated
LSU = looking ahead
BYU = had a good game
Houston = underrated
Georgia and Notre Dame = lucky, very lucky
Purdue = needs new clock
Penn State = Big Gameitis
Ole Miss = Flu and bad coaching
SCar = we'll see, don't think so
Florida = need a rb to keep Tebow healthy
Oregon = Slow starting
Cal = needed competition, found it

Folks I could build a team around A.J. Green (GA), Trent Richardson (AL), Chad Jones (LSU), Nu'Keese Richardson (TN), Eric Berry (TN), Rolando McClain (AL), Javier Arenas (AL), and the USF defense

I don't think the Pac 10 is a mess, in fact I think it's one of the top two conferences overall. However, they don't have a national championship contender. How crazy would it be after a Thursday night in Boise...if Oregon turns out to have a great season.

Personally right now I categorize teams like this:

Tier 1 - Florida, Texas, Alabama

Tier 2 - everyone else

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if we end up having a one loss and a two loss team in the BCS title game. I think for the most part...parody has taken over CFB.

Yes, that is a good call by you.

But look at this, USC may vault right back in to the top ten with so many teams losing.

Great lines Beckron -- but I know you don't think "soon" means Oct 24th!

Alabama has everything to lose and Tennessee has everything to gain. Losing Hightower is going to be tough. Hear he tore both his ACL and MCL. Really bright student and hardworker, this will be tough for him to be on the sidelines. You could see it on his face. It's going to be hard to fill his role.

BTW, can anyone not love Mount Cody? He's just fun to watch.

Did ANYONE ever think how DOMINATING Oregon would look, especially after their dubious effort in Boise and their loss of their leading rusher. I know I for one thought they were done. Maybe they got themselves a decent first year coach after all?
