You might want to take a "Peek" at Erin Andrews.
I am sure she has some good credentials.

Was Lesley Visser the right choice as no.1?

also in terms of the top 5 i could've seen Visser or Storm as the top 2 since they're probably the most accomplishing. what do you think about that? maybe roberts or tafoya can fill in the top 4.

Current Female ESPN announcers can be found here
http://www.gogomag.com/talkingheads/misc_espn_f.php

I would say Al Michaels would be one of the top mens announcers.
Jim McKay in the past.

best current female sportscaster out right now has to either be hannah storm (now on espn's sportscenter) or michele tafoya (nbc sunday night football).

tafoya this year most recently became the first reporter to win the inagural sports emmy award for outstanding sports reporter.

visser who's the best female sportscaster overall is old and hardly does any sports anymore like use to. only comes on during the nfl today on cbs only doing a feature like once a month during the nfl season and march madness ala the final four time.

p.s. can visser be the first woman to win an emmy for the category of lifetime achievement award? so she can add to her collection of firsts
