Heart problems. When the Mob cut it out and fed it to his dog it quit beating.

Loved the scene in Goodfellas when mobsters roughed up the postal carrier for delivering mail to Hill's residence, in effect
letting his parents know he wasn't attending school and getting straight F's. Carrier never delivered mail again to Hill's
residence.
