LIGHT UP THE HALO!!
At the All Star Break the Angels have finished with the best record in So Cal, the best record in all of California, and with the best record west of the Rockies. In fact only the Yankees, Rangers, and the Pirates(barely) have a better record than the 48-38 Angels.
A Great Manager two hot young studs in Trout N Trumbo (TNT), two great veteran players in Pujols and Hunter plus solid all star type pitching(I believe a league leading 14 shutouts) in Weaver, Wilson, Haren(get well soon) and the reliever Frieri.
The second half of the season should be great.
Lets hope for a freeway series Angels vs Dodgers or Giants.

You'll get a Desert/Freeway series and like it, Mister!!!! D-backs/Angels a southwest series that should draw big ratings in the Big Apple , The Windy City, Disneyland and the city that God blessed, Phoenix, AZ. If they were smart, baseball would give this series a back to the Garden of Eden theme.

LIGHT UP THE HALO!!
Another win at home, 6-3, over George Brett and those tough KC Royals.
After playing very tough teams on the road, NY Yankees - 1st place and Detroit Tigers --1st place, the Halos have come home to take 2 of 3 from the very tough Texas Rangers, 1st place, and the lid lifter vs the KC Royals with George Brett, John Mayberry and Freddie Patek.
Angels may need another starter as Haren, Wilson and Weaver could use a solid 4th starter.
Angels hold a slight lead in the wild card and are 5 back of the Rangers.
When do the Angels get to play easy teams like their cross town rivals do, Padres, Phils, Mutts and Clydedales?

B-U-L-L S-H-I T http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/82189 ... n-dempsterI would have been happy if he went to the Dodgers, but not the Rangers By the way the Angels exploded for 15 runs to win in the Lidlifter at Arlington. Since they are on the road I cant use Light Up the Halo, so since its Texas, how about LIGHT UP THE BAR-B-Q

the oakland A's are looking back at the angels as they get further and further in the rear view mirror. the rangers are looking in thier rear view mirror and a mac truck (the As) is going down the grapevine with no brakes
