For those of you who include weather conditions in your CFB wagering, it rained most of the night in Seattle, and it is currently raining at this time.
And Sarkisian faces his old team. Huskies come off an easy home win against Idaho, Trojans travel home after a cross-country trip and physical game at OSU. Some possibilities?

This is the least surprising loss I've seen involving a top 5 team and unranked team. Sarkisian knew a lot of these kids, the offense, and the head coach. Besides USC chokes once a year.
Side bar- WTF was with the announcers? They, after 1 loss, have all but said USC will not win the Pac-10. Then who will, Cal? They have Oregon, USC, and UCLA the next 3 weeks and I can see Cal going 1-2 or even lose all 3, but a loss to USC already would make them 2 games behind. Let the games be played before saying something is over because you just saw why.

Good win for the UW program...a head scratcher as far as USC is concerned. I expected it to be close...but wow. Congrats to Sark and company.
As far as the commentators...that wasn't even the "D" team. A horrible team to say the least.

After seeing the crawl on ESPN 5 of 6 of USC's losses since 2006 have been against unranked Pac-10 teams we started debating what the cause of that is. Is it USC having a lack of respect for the competition or is it that the other teams just have nothing to lose and play lights out. At any rate, I'm sorry Ogy.

Beckron, I think this year is a little different. In the past I would have said it was a lack of focus (i.e. not giving enough respect and the opponent giving their best shot), this year it's different in my opinion. For once I agree with Lou Holtz. This team was annointed its ranking and hype. Any other program rolling out a QB with no experience and really no weapons at wide out would certainly not have been ranked so high. After 3 games we have seen that the defense is as good as advertised, but the offense has a long long way to go. whether the qb is Corp or Barkley, this isn't your dyanmic Trojans teams over the last 7 years. Although they do get Washington State at home next week.
Honestly I think this is a 3 loss team at best fo this year.

I agree with this team getting too much hype. I think this team is OVER-RANKED, but Over-rated? I'll wait until the season to play Sunday Morning QB. Again I agree about USC being #3 is a joke. Top 10 with that talent, sure, but Top 3, even Top 5? No. But as I said earlier, if USC were to lose any game on the road to a team they should trounce, Washington was the team.

Over ranked is a better way to describe them. Well said.

I might buy the overranked, but no way would I think that's the reason to lose to a team that went 0-12 last year. I would take USC's third best talent to beat them. I think this is all mental.

MasterP has it right, as usual.
Here's the thing....for all the grief that Corp is getting, I didn't exactly see any WR's running free in the secondary against UW. They were covered every single time I saw a pic of what Corp saw.......no bueno.
USC has a young team. It's a shame that they may waste a great offensive line, but these guys can't live off the past. They need to step up and prove it.
I think UW has a very exciting YOUNG team themselves. Sarkisian is easy to like (especially when compared to Kiffin) and he's got something going on up there to be sure. I like UW's QB, Locker, like everyone else, but they have a nice young defense also. I like their tight end (can't remember his name) also.
As for USC nation, time to regroup. Get a grip, it's a loss. Deal w/it. USC gets a cupcake this week to take their frustrations out on, and even though they have looked subpar so far this season, it might feel good to thrash a lesser team like they did against SJSU. From there, the water gets deeper with road tests against Cal and Notre Dame.
It will be interesting to see where UW goes from here. Will they lose their momentum, or keep this going for awhile? If they can string a few more wins together, it sure will help recruiting.......I think the Huskies are going to be a nightmare for USC for the next 5-10 years.

I would have thought that this loss would have gotten JSSR out of hiding. Guess I was wrong .
