I've been having los & lots of trouble with it lately, getting videos to play. I've noticed this for about a week. My visits to YouTube are fairly infrequent so I don't know long this has been going on. It's not just me, there are comments about it on the 'net if one Googles about it.

Anyway, I click on a video I want to watch and I get the black view screen with the the little countdown-to-play icon spinning, and it just sits there and spins forever. Or it spins initially and then disappears, leaving the black play window open. Not every single video though.

Anyone else having this happen?

Try looking at some you've never viewed before.

FF used to have the same problem you described. Recent updates have solved the issue.

This is the one that I was trying to view a couple of days ago & could not get to open. Then some others, as I randomly picked some music/artist videos.

Now it opens fine. Y'all have to watch it - it's horseracing-related humor:
