OK- so that means that the Dodgers cant be in second place as I projected. However, those that bleed Dodger Blue cant be too happy with a 2-4 road trip vs Rockies who are 12-15 and Bartmanns Cubcakes who are 11-17. Blown saves, bullpen question marks, Pitchers who cant get the ball over the plate., etc.
Sure hope the Kings or Lakers can win a championship, because it wont be from the MLB or NFL team, in LA.

What's with all the Dodger hate, I-man?

Did Steve Sax steal your high school girlfriend away from you or something?

No hate from me. I just made a prediction.
Besides it wasnt Steve Sax, it was Steve Garvey, aka "The Father of Our Country".......lol.

Sure hope nobody is beat up in the parking lot tonite at Chavez Ravine.

A prediction? That's like PREDICTING a 1/9 shot is going to win a horse race.

NO ONE, other than Vince, predicted the Dodgers to be in first, or even second place, any time all season.

They are playing well above their heads, and if not for the pitiful bullpen, would have an even bigger lead in their division.

The dodgers surprisingly good start is mirrored by the Angels surprisingly bad start.

Pooholes going for the Triple Crown..LAST in the league in batting average, on-base percentage, AND slugging percentage..

I'm 117% confused. I keep reading in here that the Dodgers have played only winless teams thus far and that's why they've won a game or two.

I was in Itlee last week when Bart and Iman's Dodgers played the Nationals who had the best record in baseball prior to my departure.

Does anyone know if the Dodgers won any of those three games from the team that was like 17-7?

The games with the Nats were rained out and will be made up at a date yet to be determined.

As for the Dodgers beating the Giants last night I wasnt aware that Mays, Mccovey, Bobbie Bonds, Cepeda, and the Alou Brothers werent going to be in the line up. I also had Marichel pitching, at least thats what I got on the Vegas line I saw.

The only reason to go to Italee is to pinch the Quakos butts, which I am told is alowed in Italee. I think this is Vince P's 117th trip to Italee.................geez, I wonder why????

The only person who claimed to bleed Dodger blue was an indecisive, portly old manager who hadn't seen his toes in 40 years. He was so indecisive that he once asked an umpire if he should bring a reliever in from the bullpen. Pathetic.

No these are not the real Dodgers. The real Dodgers are usually in third or fouth place fighting for the cellar with the Padres. The real Dodgers should appear about July or early August. Stay tuned.

Bart,

Seriously, why in God's Holy Name are you so loving concerned and petrified of the Dodgers winning?

Personally, if I were you, I'd be worried about the Dbacks a little bit...curious how are they doing? I haven’t paid much attention because I've been following the Dodgers and rooting for them to win rather than for other teams to lose.

Does that make sense?

Last I checked they were 17-27. Since they have a losing record now, they won't be brought up in here anymore. Besides, Phoenix is a HOCKEY TOWN now..

I must have missed some important news? I mean reading these posts makes me believe that baseball moved the start of the playoffs to mid- May. Apparently the schedule must have cancelled approx. 137 games, remaining for each team. Wow. Well, since the playoffs apparently start in a few days and the Dodgers have now clinched the NL West title, I should just swallow my pride and say congratulations. Congratulations fellers, you've earned your bragging rights.

Say, I now figured out what must have happened. While we were all sleeping last night, the earth made an odd rotation, and we are now in the Southern Hemisphere. Hence, the baseball owners and commissioner woke up this morning and declared, "that's it, the fall classic is now going to be played in May."
