Meyer certainly isn't going to take his foot off Kiffin's throat. Lane made a splash and has said that he got Tennessee mentioned a lot in the media. Problem was it was mostly negative. I'm not much of a Florida (or Urban Meyer) fan, but I might enjoy a good old-fashioned spanking in Gainesville next week.

I love how UCLA went to Rocky Top and showed Lame Kiffin how it is done. Lame talked smacked and got drilled one week too early. Unfortunately for Lame he goes to the Swamp next week and if "lowly" UCLA can show up Tennessee AT Tennessee, then I can't imagine what Florida will do to them.

They better have gotten that Rocky Top singing out of their systems this week. I don't think they will be singing it much this weekend in the Swamp. Or it could be the alternative version of the song.....I HATE ROCKY TOP,
GO TO HELL TENNESSEE. Not that I would sing that of course.

Good game, but not great...actually a bit boring as someone who is a CFB fan but not a particular fan of either team. I got more excited about "Script Ohio" than I did for the game. Thoughts of what I saw:

- Pryor is a long way from living up to the expectations or even coming close
- Between a new "O coordinator" and a frosh QB, USC may be in trouble when they play a better offensive team. Their offense looked almost too simple at times.
- Ohio State's mental toughness can't be good now. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose some games this year they shouldn't. This OSU team could have 3, 4 or 5 losses (at Penn State, at Michigan and I see them slipping up somewhere else potentially too)
- USC at Washington should be fun next week.

What happened in the last couple of Tennessee plays when Gerald Jones ran the wrong pass routes ? There seemed to be some communication problems & Crompton sure came off as pi$$ed.

On USC, after OSU had the Trojans back by their own end zone, & McKnight broke a couple of gains you could see OSU losing the hold on that game. It was almost like they were accepting USC scoring.
