D-backs may be in trouble tonight. I can't understand what the schedulers were thinking. They play a day game at San Diego on Wednesday and a night game last night. Why not play the day game on Thursday as is the usual way things are done? The Champs arrive in Colorado at 4 a.m. this morning and have to play tonight. If the D-backs win tonight after this scheduling fiasco, you can say that the race in the NL West is over and the others are playing for second place.
