****Editor's note: Please forgive me because I am so loving bored – been up since 4am – I never, ever can sleep while I'm on vacation and the wife and daughter will be snoozing until at least 9am, Pacific Meantime.
I'm way up here in Seattle again. Seattle, as you know, is a tiny little town near the Pacific Ocean, about 700 miles northwest of South Lake Tahoe. Our swimming pool - I'm a swimmer as well as a jockey and baseball player - doesn't open up until 8am, so I have about an hour or so to kill. We're staying at an old Hotel – the Camlin in downtown Seattle. The Camlin is a beautiful refurbished hotel (now our Timeshare joint), about 7 short blocks from the Pier and Pike's Place. This hotel reminds me of the Tower of Terror in Orlando. It has all this old time ambiance, along with new style love, such as the Business Center where I've been at since 4 this morning, doing charts, porn and love like that. We go to freakin frigid Alaska in a few days, so we'll be taking in as much of Seattle as we can.
My wife and daughter are going to see the Wicked thing tonight - the Seattle Paramount is next door to us - actually catty-corner from this joint. Unbelievable timing because my wife mentioned to me just the other day that she wanted to see Wicked and lo and behold – it's right here. We had no idea and didn't even know Seattle did plays and stuff. So, as soon as the box office opens this morning, I will buy them their tickets.
I won't go see it though because Vince doesn't do plays unless people like Linda Lovelace or someone tempting like that is in them. I think I'll just go to Maui's Deja Vu Showgirls and send quality time while they're at the play tonight. Or I'll go to this Sports Bar down the street, very similar to ESPN Zone.
It's funny, there's a Racing Form store down the street and it's kind of weird because they sell the Form TWO days ahead of time; i.e. I got Belmont's form (AM edition) for Friday on Wednesday night. How do they do that?
How are my Dodgers and Rams doing? Are the Dodgers still in first place? Are the Rams still undefeated?
I won't be able to go Online much in Alaska because they charge 75 cents a freakin minute to use their machines in Alaska and I don't have no 75 cents. So I may be calling some of you degenerates up for Dodger and Ram updates at all hours of the night.
Has anyone see Tony the Pony lately?

Believe it or not, Red's Mom is up there for an Alaskan cruise too. Don't think it's the same one as yours, however. Hope you have a great time. Let's plan to go to GGF sometime soon.

If you happen to run into Dolly Arthur, please say hi from me, she'll remember me and treat you right!

Please post a picture of Dolly and define "Treat you right." And be specific. Today we go back to the Jimi and science museums. My daughter ain't never been there and I want to explain to her how great Jimi was - a million times better than the love she listens to. Plus, he's from Seattle you know. Vince P

I'll be headed past Seattle on Sunday on my wat to EMD if you want a ride
It's EMD's Washington Cup Day, so pretty much all the races will have at least 8 entries

I appreciate the offer Holly and would love to attend, but I'll be gone by Sunday, thanx a million. And also thanx to Sid for last night's offer to take me to the Friday night races at Emerald. Just too many things to do before we leave to Alaska. I love Emerald and wish the folks who run that beautiful track the best. It's funny, I subscribe to MLB.com so I can watch Mary S's and Bob B's Dodgers on my machine whenever I want. But last night I received an E6 (shortstop error) message when I tried to check on the game: "This game is blacked out because it's on local TV in your area" or something crazy like that. I couldn't figure that one out. I'm up here in freakin Seattle – almost 1,700 miles from where the game is being played (San Francisco), so how in God's Holy Name can I get "blacked out?" Well, duh. I have an SF zip code in my profile and the stupid machine thought I was still in San Francisco, hence the "black out" message. Life ain't fair. Who won last night's Dodger game anyhow, anyone know? They don't have no Sport's papers here in Seattle. Vince P

Dogs won and with the Cards 1-0 loss, they're tied for best record in NL. Rockies won again to remain 2 back.
