Re: Experts baffled by Dodger sale price of $2.15BFor that kind of dough, you'd think that Ervin and his group would've at least wanted a major league team???
Re: Experts baffled by Dodger sale price of $2.15BWasn't so long ago I read where the Dallas Cowboys were (probably) the most valuable sports team franchise. I recall they were priced just above $1 billion.
They're not major league, either. Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
Re: Experts baffled by Dodger sale price of $2.15B
Nonsense. This team, imo, and I've done financial studies on this exact thing, is probably worth DOUBLE what Magic and his partners paid. They got a great deal. I would have purchased them myself if it weren't for my wife axing me to spend my money on her instead. Vince P Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

Re: Experts baffled by Dodger sale price of $2.15BVince....... I just read that the Texans are coming out with a Hot Dog the size of Storm Cat's Yo-Yo for $25.... Never had or seen a Dodger Jobber, but they say that Boss's Son in the Bronx is thinking of getting Grimaldi's Pizza set up as an option to Cracker Jack, for only $29/ Pie, sausage or Olives $3.00 extra....
