Re: Not one post by LET IT RIDE MIKE?WTF after 10,000 posts under the old format he suddenly has better things to do. He had to average around 15 posts per day. I doubt he has taken up needle craft's. He will be back.

Re: Not one post by LET IT RIDE MIKE?My wife and I spend the afternoon with LIRM and his beautiful girl Jen at the Del Mar Fair yesterday. Mike is doing well and as usual is travelling all over the country with work. He let me know the forum was back up and running and claims he is done with it, but if I know Mikey.....
Re: Not one post by LET IT RIDE MIKE?
I hope he does come back. He never had to defend his preference for watching "live" racing to me, as I always prefer a day at the track over a day watching a computer screen, TV, or being at an OTB. So, if you see LIRM again, tell him that at least some of us miss his view of things. Most importantly, I miss his "body language" clinics. I always appreciated how LIRM tried to spot the "alpha". I really want to learn more about evaluating the horses in the paddock/walking ring, and post parade. What should one look for physically and psychologically? I love reading everyone's pre- and post-race analyses about which horses seem to dominate over the others -- i.e. who are the leaders of the pack (herd) and who are the followers. So maybe LIRM could come back and just post those opinions. I welcome anyone else's insights into that as well. I bet on a horse at ten-to-one. It didn't come in until half-past five.
